Each year, Shine A Light 21 honors and raises awareness for important causes within our community, causes that impact lives, families, and futures.

This year, we are proud to honor skin cancer warriors, shining a powerful spotlight on their strength, courage, and resilience. Their journeys remind us that awareness is not optional, it is life-saving.

Throughout the year, we will host impactful events and offer meaningful merchandise in support of skin cancer awareness. From our May Family Game Night to our November Gala, each gathering is designed to educate, inspire, and unite our community around prevention and early detection.

The color black, representing the ribbon for skin cancer awareness, symbolizes both remembrance and resilience, honoring those we’ve lost and uplifting those who continue to fight.

Our 2026 slogan, “Protect the Skin You’re In,” is more than a statement, it is a call to action. A reminder to prioritize sun safety, schedule skin checks, and have conversations that could save lives.

In addition, all t-shirt and hoodie proceeds this year will continue to go toward feeding the unhoused in our community, because protecting lives extends beyond awareness. It means showing up with compassion and service.
